ABOUT ME
Pace Piano Studio was started by Jessica Pace in 2008 to offer professional piano and theory instruction to students of all ages.
Originally from Austin, Texas, I received my Bachelors of Music in Piano Performance with an emphasis in Pedagogy and graduated with Honors from the University of Texas, Butler School of Music.
​My experience includes student teaching at UT for the Piano Project under Sophia Gilmson, Associate Professor of Piano and Director of the Piano Project. I have taught private lessons since 2008 at my home studio in Kyle, Texas and at Clavier-Werke School of Music in Austin, Texas from 2008-2017, when, after the birth of my second daughter, I decided to teach full time at my home studio. I am a member of the Music Teachers National Association and the Austin District Music Teachers Association.

Music has always been a part of my life. I had a love for music as a child and was enthusiastic to begin piano lessons at the age of 13. As a teacher, my main objective is to cultivate in each student the skills and knowledge needed to become an independent musician and to enjoy playing for years to come. Whether you are a beginner or advanced student, lessons will be tailored to your individual goals and strengths, while providing constructive guidance for improvement. Lessons will include learning skills such as theory, musicianship, ear training, technique, varied repertoire, and rhythm.
