PACE PIANO STUDIO POLICY
Materials
You will be responsible for providing the necessary materials for your child's lessons
Ms. Jessica will purchase the needed materials and add the cost to the next month's tuition bill.
An annual materials fee of $40 per student will be added to the first tuition bill of the school year. Recital fee is $18/student, due the month before the recital.
Tuition
Tuition is based on 36 lessons from Sept 3-June 7. Payments are divided equally across 9 payments, September through May. Tuition is due at the first lesson of each month. If the first lesson is missed, please mail or drop off payment. A late fee of $25 will apply if payment is not postmarked by the first lesson of the month. It is the client's responsibility to make payments on time, as no statement will be sent, unless the tuition amount differs from the set monthly amount. In addition, there is a $35 returned check fee.
ATTENDANCE & MAKE-UP
Weekly attendance to lessons is mandatory. Consult the studio calendar for holidays.
Please provide a 24-hour notice if the student is sick and a 3 day notice for school functions that conflict with the lesson time. Failure to contact Ms. Jessica, in the event of illness or school activity, will result in forfeiture of lesson and payment. Please contact Ms. Jessica for cancellation for any other reason.
Makeup lessons will only be scheduled for illness or excused absences, for a limit of 3 each semester, at Ms. Jessica's availability.
If Ms. Jessica cancels a lesson, a makeup lesson will be offered to you as soon as possible.
If the student misses or cancels a makeup lesson, they forfeit that lesson and payment.
SUMMER STUDY
Summer study is required and beneficial. A minimum of 6 lessons is required to hold the student's spot in the studio. The makeup policy remains in effect for summer lessons. Lessons are scheduled on a month to month basis and are often different times and days than the school year schedule.
LEAVING THE STUDIO
Lessons are a year long commitment. If, at any time, the student decides to withdraw from Pace Piano Studio, it must be done with no less than 30 days written notice.
